This is a piece of letterwood Darrick was nice enough to send me to play with and this is what I did with it.

Nice! You using a dremel? I've got the bit but realized I'm missing the smaller chuck insert [:(] Looking forward to trying something freehand.

Hi Skye, I use a dremel and I also wrap masking tape around the lower part of the bit to make it fit in the chuck insert I already have. It seems to work ok for me, you might give it a try.

Is letterwood the same as snakewood ? I've buyed some blanks of snakewood but they are not the same colour as yours, they have a creamy colour. Maybe the vendor as made a mistake ? [?]

Sorry it took me so long to answer Jerry but yes I always do my inlay freehand. The local laser company wants $15 per pen to have it done so I just do it as best as I can.
