Thought I would share this simple little guy. I literally got my lathe set up yesterday, sharpened my chisels today and went to work on a couple of pens. The other pen got wrecked during assembly...this one survived!

Finished with Shellawax Liquid. Not bad stuff.



Don't be too hard on me, I'm delicate. Just kidding.

Keep your stick on the ice.

This was a blank from PSI. I tried to find what the wood was and couldn't find what it was. Luckily, I don't have to tell some customer what it is! haha.

My sister in law already put her order in! Probably have to spend some time doing up a bunch of slimlines.

Now I need to learn a CA finish, or something.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm hooked!

Nice job, Tony. Glad you didn't have any problems with the blank coming apart or tearing out (some of my beginner's troubles). Keep going - you are heading in the right direction!
