This is my first PC cane made using the Skinner Blend method of shading. The shading is in the purple part of the flower pedals.
I used a 1/8" brass rod to roll each cane so all canes would have a different pedal pattern.
To have more control in rolling out the canes, I made these bushings on my metal lathe. The larger dia. is the finished dia plus 0.020 to allow for sanding and finishing.
The bushings setting on the end blocks.
The Dark Side is gaining more light every day.
