I'm new and still learning the ins and outs of the hobby. With that said here are my first few pens. The cherry pens are turned from some old wood found in my wife's grandfather's old shop that he cut and planed himself and they were turned for close relatives. Then you have my one and only acrylic so far and then just some other stuff I made while practicing..

Good job on those first pens.
Be sure to keep a couple for yourself so you'll have something to look back on in a year or two when you were just starting out.

Very nice job! I agree the shape is good for each. And yup... keep some of your firsts! As much as we are tempted to give our "Prize Masterpieces" away early on, in a few months to a year, you will be even better.

thanks for compliments everyone. The first three I ever turned out was a cheap ash slimline that I cracked during assembly but I still carry it in my pocket at work and a matching pen and pencil set for my wife of the cherry from her late grandfather's shop.

The black satin bolt action was bought from PSI
