My First Rollerball

Moved up to a rollerball last night. This is an American kit with 10K gold. The wood is cocobolo. The colors in the wood are amazing. Shades of brown with orange and tan. Finish is 7 coats of CA/BLO with no sanding. I know this is not a high end kit, but for me, it was a step up. (First two pictures)



Also here are a couple more pens I've completed recently. A Diva Charm (got to keep a few girlie pens in stock. This one has an Invisivue white blank, The last one is a Cigar in 24K gold with a really nice blank form Brooks 803. Both are MM to 12000 and Novus 2 finished.

I've done other cocobolo pens and none of them had this kind of color in the wood. Guess it just varies from blank to blank.

They all look great Gary. I am a bit partial to the cigar though. That blank came really well.
