Here is my first Pinecone pen using Alumalite and first use of a pressure pot. I want to use more colorant next time as well as paint the tubes if using a lighter color like Pearl. I want to thank Maxman2000 for inspiration and Bob Younghusband for teaching me how to do a decent CA/BLO finish.

I'm going to try some darker and colorful castings next.

I want to say it looks good. Certainly you pulled it off. The issue though is the photograph. it is too busy and too much glare on the pen for me to really see anything. Just put the pen on a piece of white paper would be good. This way the camera will just focus on the pen, which is all that matters.

Send me a few blanks and I will give you a better opinion.
J/K...Now that you are casting your own blanks, you can truly custom design a pen....Great job on the pine cone!!!
