Here are my first three pens I've ever made - all from last week...I didn't include the Baron that I messed up (because it's just a pile of pieces)...

In order, I made the Sierra out of Cocobolo from a blank I bought from Exoticwoods (Albert) on this forum, finished with CA and BLO in my own very unscientific and probably faulty method! :D

Next is an acrylic from WoodnWonders in the Sierra style, finished with Micromesh. There are a few little scratches, so I might re-turn this one and try sanding a bit less aggressively.

Finally, I made this one yesterday - a gold slimline pen made out of Mesquite with a CA finish.

The pictures aren't great, but I don't really have a good setup, or the time to create a good setup at the moment. Boy, pens are addicting, though! :D

After wet sanding get some plastic polishing compuond from your auto parts store and use small gun cleaning patches of cotton to really make it shine.
The plastic polishing compound is used for plastic headlight covers and such.
I have a whole bunch of it on the shop floor from when my cold hands just did'nt want to hang on to it last night.
