Here are a few of my first pens.
They are all euro pens.

I was having fun trying a variety of materials.

Curly Maple
Whitetail Antler
Apricot
Magnolia

The magnolia is from a tree my dad planted for my mom almost 50 years ago.
It was severely damaged this year in a tornado.

Your opinions welcomed...................

thanks,
Greg

All of them are beautiful. You did a very nice job on them.

Finish??

Thanks everyone.
For finish I used medium CA glue with BLO.
6 coats then micromesh to 12,000.

Also as has been noted in the past, antler kind of smells when you turn it:rolleyes:

No big deal, part of the game.

Very nicely done. Welcome to this addictive world of pen turning. I love the Apricot.

What kind of finish did you use? How far down did you take the sanding?
