This is my first batch of pens. The group of five are all comfort pens (without the rubber dohickey) made from cocobola, curly maple, padauk, goncola alves and bocote. The last three are Executive Pens made from coolibah burl, spalted tamarind and afrilla burl. All + 12 more are Christmas gifts for family and friends. They were all a lot of fun but I did have a heck of a time with the burls. Ruined three blanks.

The finish is one coat of BLO, 2-3 coats of sanding sealer, 3 coats of Myland's Friction Polish and 3 coats of carnuba wax. Really simple and easy finish. Someday I'll learn the CA method but learning to turn is enough for now.
