Well I finally got a chance to turn my first pen. A rosewood slimline. It's not perfect, didn't turn it down far enough, but the finish turned out great. Sanded thru 600 and wood burnished and then shellwax, burnished again.
Thanks,
Corey

You're off to a great start! And I second the advise to keep your first one, shows how far you've gone when you compare it to future pens.

Cheers,

Well, you turned one of the harder pens. Those things are not easy, just cheap. Now get some cigar pens from BB and really have some fun. Nice job. Keep at it and then compare what you do in even a month to that one. You'll be amazed.[:0]
