My first pen

Hi everyone I would like to say that you all do great work and I have learned many things from this website. This is my fist pen it is a PSI slimeline in Rosewood. I can't wait to order some different kits and wood. Thanks for looking.

All right, the Louisiana crowd continues to grow! My first pen also was a rosewood slimline. Be sure to keep this pen, Brandon. Look at it a year from now, but don't change it. I firmly believe that the first pen should be kept like a talisman. Keep up the good work.

Yup...classic Penn State Slimline. I know .....I made em to. Great job on your first pen. It came out a better fit than my first one did. Still have my first one sitting on my bench. Reminds me of how far I have come in a short time.

I have to wonder how many of us had our first pen as a slim line rosewood. I know mine was. Rosewood is still one of my best sellers for the slim line kits.

I sanded to 400 (The highest grit I had) and put on 2 coats of Shellawax liquid FP.
