My First Patriot

10K Gold plated and dressed in Caragana.
Sanded to 400x, buffed with super fine steel wool, burnished with Caragana wood shavings and applied 6 coats of BLO burnishing between dried coats.
Not sure yet if I like this kit.

My wife absolutely LOVES this pen kit, I'm personally not a big fan from a usability standpoint, it's a bit too short for it's diameter for me...

Your wood however is FANTASTIC, and really works with the gold tone...
