My first Panache

Here's a Panache I turned for a friend of mine out west who sends me a box of interesting wood every once in a while. I really struggled with the large end of the body as I was having some alignment issues with the Jet Mini (still haven't got that all worked out)

The pen actually looks like it has a better finish in person so I'm a bit dissapointed with these pics.....

Feedback as always is welcome and appreciated.

Very nice work. I don't like that kit. But you have a very nice pen.

Great looking wood! That is definitely a unique looking kit, no pen cup needed there! Stands on its own, right?

Yes, the Panache is a "desk" pen. Meant to stand on your desk.

I made it for a friend that has arthritis, who wanted a larger barrel pen to use.
