My first kitless pen

Hi this is my first attempt at a kitless pen.The nib is an El Grande and there are no brass tubes. Let me know what you think. I am open to sygestions.

Interesting shape and blank , looks great for a first attempt .
What kind of blank is it .
The photo needs a bit of work , hard to tell much about the pen .
