My First Gents Pen

This is my first Gents Pen. The blank was stablized Box Elder Burl and I'm not sure if it was dyed or if that is the natural color. The kit is the Rhodium/22K rollerball and the photo was done øn my scanner. The pen is so heavy it could be used as a weapon! Perhaps in this case, the pen is mightier than the sword.

The wood and the pen look great! I would guess that the blank has been dyed (gold?).
