I decided to try and make some fatline pens after seeing other people had made them. The First one is Zircote with no centerband and it was finished with sealer, highfriction polish, then carnauba wax. The second one is Canary Wood with a cocobolo center band that is free spinning. It was finished the same way. The third is Zebra wood with a cocobolo centerband that is glued to the top piece. It was finished the same way also. Thanks to hilltopper46 for the ideas on centerbands. All comments and criticisms are helpful to me.

James, very nice twist to the slimline pen. I am not a big fan of standard slimlines, but your pens are a nice alternative to using the skinny centerband.

Good job on all the pens and the cb for sure. I personally think they are overly big, but that's just my opinion. I have done various sizes too in the past so no harm in experimenting. You did good pulling this off with the cb as with the stock kit ones would not have looked right at all. Good job. Now you just need a CA finish imo.
