I didn't eat it but I did harvest the cob myself. Okay- maybe 'harvest' is the wrong word. I liberated, appropriated, recycled or stole the cob. Friends and I went through a corn maze this Fall and I filled my shoulder bag with corn cobs which had fallen from the stalks. My thievery does have its limits - I didn't take any from the stalks still standing.
