My first closed end slimline

I was watching one of YoYoMasters tutorials on modifying a Sierra to be a closed end pen. I only have slimline kits and mandrels so went out and gave it a shot. It's is really plain as I didn't think to turn a center band out of another specie of wood until I had finished the pen. So next time I will turn a center band while turning the pen. Anyways Walnut, obviously, sanded to 2800 MM then 6 coats thin CA then sanded to 12,000 MM with two passed of EEE. Please make any comments you think would help. Thanks to YoYoMaster for the very well done tutorial videos.

Very nice. I have yet to try a closed end, but will have to fix that soon.

The pen has a very nice flowing shape - all pens don't need them doodad's and whatevers to look good.
