This is a 50/50 Ambonya blank that my dad picked out of my box of new blanks as soon as I opened them. Overall it was pretty simple to turn and Arizona Silhouettes has a good deal on getting Ed's DVD on closed end turning if you buy two mandrels. BTW...If the design looks familar, I just finished Ed's DVD so it is a bit of a reproduction.

Comments are welcome!

Sorry to burst your bubble on that bit of news workinforwood.

On another note, I highly recommend the 50/50 ambonya blanks. I've had some minor difficulties squaring the ends, but beyond that, the stuff is amazing.
