Here is a cigar I made from Bocote and a gun metal kit from Woodnwhimsies. It is the first pen I have turned that wasn't a slimline.

All comment and critiques are welcome.

Thanks for the positive comments. No, glycerine, the dust did not affect me at all. About the only thing that bothers me is dust from MFD. And once I bought a lathe, I have almost forgot about flat work.

Agree with Bree - hey, sounds like the start of a nice rap.

I make far too many cigar pens. I like them a lot - the size shows the wood off nicely and I like the heft and feel in my hand.

Great first pen, the blank finished off nicely. What did you do for the finish?
