After looking at YouTube videos, reading forums and looking at step-by-step directions that people had posted on the internet, then trying it for myself and messing a few up I finally finished one. Got it down now. The pen is a comfort pen kit from Penn State Industries. The blank is walnut with a maple celtic knot. Sanded to 600 grit the CA finish, sanded with 1000 grit then 4 coats of hut wax. I really enjoyed doing this pen and seem to get a bit of a "wow" factor from people when they see it and a bunch of "how did you do that". I will be making more of these with different kits. I will be posting more "knot" pens up here in the near future.

I'm new to this site and after I wrote this thread, I looked for someplace so I can post a pic and I didn't see one so if someone can help me out and give me some direction I will post the pic so everyone can see it.
