This is the first time I have ever cast anything. It's coffee beans in red PR. Turned out alright for the first time. C&C Welcome. I did use a pressure pot. It's also got about 15 coats of CA on it.

Been trying to get the wife to try some coffee beans, but she just hasn't got around to it yet...how much pressure were you applying? And this was PR casting?

Reason I ask, looks like you had good penetration between the bean-halves.

BTW, nice turningz!

It was PR and I had it pressurized to 40lbs. I'm looking foward to some "Trashwood" blanks next.

Nice looking pen and blank
I am still having trouble casting coffee beans, only success I've had was
vertical cast in pvc.
What did you put on top of the mold to hold the beans down?
