My First Casting

[G1Pens]

Two pens. The first one is my first casting. It is a Sierra. Wrapped the tube and then cast in PR. Turned then MM to 12000. I am very happy with it.

Second is a Sculpted with box elder. Finish is just MM to 12000 and then EEE.

Both blanks required a little touchup with CA to fill a few very small voids.

I had a lot of fun doing the casting and learned a little in the process. There will be more.

I didn't really expect much from mine either. I just took my time and I had done a lot of reading and question asking before I started.

Excellent job for a first time Gary! Dont give up, even when you hit brick walls, that resin is a tricky beast sometimes! But it can be tamed!
