My First Cast Feather

Elegant Beauty Black Titanium/Titanium Gold with my own Polyester Resin Pheasant feather casting.

Sanded to 400 grit, buffed with super fine steel wool and polished with Huts Ultra Gloss.

Still working on refining my technique of applying the feathers to keep them attached to the tube as well as keeping the top layer from floating in the Polyester resin.

So far so good!

Are you tying the feathers down or gluing? Either way it seems to be working well!

It looks great, I like the fact that they appear to be slightly free floating in the acrylic, shows the detail in the feathers very nicely.
