Chrome Navigator wearing leopard wood. I also did a different finish. Sand to 400, Micromesh to 12000 then 3 coats of BLO and two coats wax. Market research says the folks that like the wood pens prefer that to CA finish.

I like that finish! Seems to me wood should still be wood feeling.....

I agree with that as well. But I'm torn between a shiny CA finish on wood and a satin type finish using a friction polish. I like the durability of the CA finish but it makes the wood feel like plastic. Then the friction polish will wear off after a while. We need the best of both worlds. A finish that leaves wood looking and feeling like wood but won't wear off. If it exists, I don't know about it!
