My first, but KNOT my last

Here's my latest pen - using my new bandsaw for the thin kerf. This one is curly maple with colored veneers.

Blah.. didn't notice the lint on the lower barrel - ugly little black spot, but I'm not re-taking the picture today.

Thanks for all the compliments. I'm pretty happy with this. I thought the 4 color mix would show off the knot really well, especially with this light colored maple.

A couple of other answers:
jtate - No thanks, I'll reshoot if I need a better shot. I can photoshop it too, but didn't bother.
Dale - the colored veneers are from a Woodcraft package of mixed colors.
Carl - Its a 1/4" blade, .020 thick 14tpi and was just a hair thicker than the veneers.

My better half got me the little bandsaw for xmas so I'll be trying more fun stuff like this now.
