Please excuse the photography, I still haven't got a decent camera, but I just had to post this pic. I came across this bug while chopping up some mesquite for a BBQ.

Very interesting pen, Bennie. What color is the casting around the bug? There are those that the pen will turn completely off, but I like it. Good job.

The casting is clear resin, I painted the tube glossy black (fingernail polish). I made it a little fat because I was afraid of gouging the bug.

That is pretty darn cool. I think that is such a cool thing to pull off like that. It might turn off some, but others I think would buy it for a coolness factor too.

Sancho, you're the guy they told me to worry about when I got drafted! The drill sergeants kept talking about Sancho back home. So you're the guy......

I would like to see a more close up pic of the bug. The background and the pen blend in alot together. From what I can tell it is a long bug,I think.

Here's a better pic plus I dusted off the old black light and took a pic.
