Australian teak that I got from wudwrkr. The wood turned nice, but was waxy! The pic doesn't do the finish (CA) justice.

I enjoyed the Baron kit. I see more in my future.

(Honest) Comments welcome! :)

I think it's that reflection thats distorting the finish in the photo. Your camera focused on the reflection (but still a nice effect).

Very nice looking pen, you did a great job on the turning down to the transition points. Teak does turn nicely, the waxiness helps it cut and come off the tools nicely. I've done a few Teak Barons, With some DNA while sanding was able to clean them up nicely for the CA finish.

If you are able to increase the F-stop, more of the picture would be in focus and you would probably get more clarity shown in your finish. I like the watch as a backdrop.
