My first attempt at a Celtic Knot

Ever since I joined IAP 2 months ago, I have been going through the library, and the other forums, and gallery of photos of other pens - I am so glad I found this site!! When I saw a celtic knot pen for the first time, my initial reaction was "Man, that looks impossible to make - how the heck did they do that?"

Then, earlier this week I found the couple excellent celtic knot tutorials in the IAP library, and saw that it's really not all that complicated. It just requires some precision and patience.

So I gave it a shot. My first pen turned out pretty well - when I show it to my family and friends, they all ask "How did you do that?" (They also think it's super complicated to make, and I'm not gonna try to convince them otherwise :wink

Well done. The top of each ring looks very even, which is what you want, but is tricky. I think you nailed it.
