This is my first try at an antler pen. I selected the Sierra kit so I could use a shorter section of antler because I wasn't quite sure of my drilling skills with an irregular blank. Turned (no pun intended) out OK I think. I finished it by sealing it with thin CA and then just polished with MM through 12000.

All comments (good and bad) welcome.

I love antler on Sierra kits. That turned out nice.

If you ever get the exceptional piece that drills perfect and turns without any marrow showing through, you can wet sand it with MM and it will polish like glass.

You did very well for the first, or 50th. I have some Sierra's on order and will do some antler. Seems like that is a good choice for antler as it is kinda fat and sections of antler could be used that would not be suitable for other style pens. We need a 'thumbs up' similie here, you would get one.
