Thanks to Campzeke for the antler section which he sent in response to my request for help. It arrived before the pieces from Indiana_Parrothead.

Turned on a Nova comet II with carbide tools from Harrison Specialty Tools (midsize tougher and detail finisher)

CA finish.

Although I wore a 3M respirator I did not notice any smell from working the antler

Customer very happy but I am not sure I would want to do another one

Looks good! I don't make many but when I do, I try to cut and drill them all the same day so I dull my bits and saw blades all at the same time. Besides, the wife doesn't like the smell lingering in to the house from the basement shop. lol

:eek:I cut antler when someone comes to visit me and I want them to leav e. ust walk into the workshop and start cutting. Turn around and the are gone!! Wonder why?
