Has been a busy few days for me, and I have managed to get a few pens done for our Craft stall tomorrow.

These are 4 sets of Slimline Pen and Pencils.

Wet sanded to 900 and then buffed.

C & C welcome as usual and thanks for looking.

Bob:)

Bob, I love the concept of Pen and Pencil sets.
They are terrific, fantastic finish, superb fit, and great Blanks,
Love the Purple pair. Is there a reason as to why the first set have different blanks? Though the Grey and Blue go well together.
You shouldn't have any trouble selling those at the Stall.
Congratulations.

Brian, they are the same blanks, probably just taken on a different angle. Never thought about that.

Looks fantastic Bob. Love the shape. Are you reverse painting the blanks or painting the tubes? Looks like you have a little bit of brass showing through.

The 'set' is always a 'looked for' item here....but in kits that usually don't offer them.

The one's your showing here are great...nice blanks on good kits!

No, I didn't paint the tubes or blanks. The green "flecky" set have some yellow/cream flecks in the cast and I think that the brass really shows that off. When I finished sanding the blanks I noticed the brass, but quickly decided that it complemented the patterns.
I think that the photography indicates see-through brass in the other pens.

I did paint the tubes on the Banksia Cigars though, they would definitely have been visible.

Thanks for your thoughts, I will pay more attention in future.
