Sorry for the lousy image. My light tent is in storage so this is just a quick scan to get the picture posted.

This is the Berea AA-04 "Swirled Black and Bronze" blank on a Black Chrome Cigar.

I don't know if you can see it but the paint inside the blank and on the tube reacted with the CA glue and made a 'gator-skin look deep inside the pen. I think it looks kinda cool but I probabaly won't use that paint again.

Nice job. I destroyed a couple also, that acrylic takes some getting used to. I was so used to CSUSA celluloid. On my Red White and Blue acrylic Euro, I used a blue sharpie on the tube, and it worked pretty good. You can barely see the tube. It actually shows through just right in the more transparent spots. The blue tube really enhances the colors in the blank.

I'm actually toying with painting a tube like my father-in-law's '69 Camaro and then cast it in clear PR. Might be interesting.
