This was the first acrylic pen i did, it was easier than i thought.
Wet sand up to 6000 grit, used car polish to see what it would do (Turned out OK)
What is a good polish/Finish for acrylics?

that looks great! That is a very cool blank. My first inclination was to try and picture it with silver hardware but I have to say, the gold works with it very well. They are a nice mix. Have you tried any of the fine scratch remover type car products. Also, I believe that McGuires makes a plastic polish that is supposed to work well.

A good finish on acrylics is to MM through 12,000 followed by plastic polish and/or scratch and swirl remover wax. The main thing is to get rid of the circular sanding scratches, and that's best done with MM.

Very nice job! I think the gold/blue combination is a hit.
I usually mm to 12000, then buff with White Diamond and then Ren Wax.

Looks good as does the finish.
