Finish: Plexi & Acetone
Blank: Padauk

Ok thats my first 5. I also used 3 different finish on them. So far
I like the Plexi & Acetone the best. However I need to work on all of the finish. I think I could make them all better. By the way I think the Padauk wood is the nicest wood so far. To bad I only had that little bit.

Thanks for looking

Thanks for all the kind words guys. This has been a lot of fun. I really owe it to this site and the guy on it. I stumbled across it about 2 years ago, thought wow, thats cool stuff. Heck I read and learned for 16 months before I bought a lathe. Had the lathe for 4 more months before I turned my first pen. I'm pretty laid back and no hurry for anything.

R2,
I put 3 to 4 coats of Shellawax, really depends on how it looks to me at that time. As far as time in between the coats. Not long at all, just about a min.

Not sure if thats right, but that how I have been doing it
