This is my first "Classic Elite" Roller Ball in Spalted Myrtle. The wood was harvested just down the street from my house. Your comments, tips, and suggestions are welcome, and thanks for taking the time to help out a "Newbie".

That's a nice looking piece of Spalted Maple. On the lower barrel is the wood actually below the fittings as it appears? What finish are you using?

Nice looking piece of wood. On those kits I always leave out the o rings. If you press the parts in a little too hard the o ring smashes and expands and in my opinion detracts from the looks of the pen.
