Yes great pen.I also have stated doing slimlines with no centerband.I think it gives the pen more continuity.

So, do you use an elongated nib-end tube, or just leave the blank proud at the end? Nice pen. Is that white, or silver? I might have to try some of these myself.

BigRob' I use longer tubes 60/ml. nib end.you can buy them here and the centre bush's and clip end bush I use is from European kit.I use s/line bush' for nib end.I hand cut all my bits with miter/saw and I use a piece of glass and I hand sand all the bits starting with 240 grit then 1200 grit and I use the figure eight method to sand. to get the joints spot on. then I glue with thin CA. hope this helps. thank you all for the nice comments.
