Thanks for your kind words...It is crosscut Bolivian Rosewood.... Finish was 10 coats of lacquer....

I use lacquer, but I never know what to do with it. If I buff it, it clumps up on me. All I've tried is spray, but I want to try wipe on and dipping. Which did you use? BTW, nice pen. I looked through your pics and I agree, Lignum Vitae is nice to turn. I love the smell too.
