I haven't posted one of my pens in quite some time. Thought I would take this opportunity to show off two pens I made recently from my favorite burl blanks. The first pen is a Jr. Emperor in Amboyna Burl and the second pen is a Jr. Statesman in Honduran Rosewood Burl. Enjoy.

Great looking pens. Those two burls are also my favorite. I have trouble finding the Honduran rosewood burl.

Outstanding job of finishing those two burls. I agree that Amboyna is my most favorite burl, but that Rosewood is quite complex in it's meandering grain pattern. I have not turned the Junior Emporer pen but now see I must correct that oversight.
