Well since everyone is posting pics of the spalted cottonwood they got from Bill, I figured I should to. Here is a baron plated in black Ti. I must say this is way better than what I had hoped. I figured I would be a bit different so I dyed it blue. When I did some strange thing happened. For some reason this is the wildest dye job I have seen. I tried to get the best pics I could. The grain looks amazing. Almost like a feather. This is my new fav. pen. I am hoping they all dye this way. Thanks a bunch Bill. Hope I did it proud. Thanks for looking and comments are appreciated.

Yup sure did. Just put a dab on a paper towel. I used the trans blue dye that I get for my PR. Works both ways. I went super lite with it. Really didnt want to drown it so a little dot went a long way. I even wiped some off.

Keith,
How did you finish it? Any concerns that the dye will come off on the users fingers?

I believe you know me well enough that I am just trying to cover all bases as well as understand them.
