Hi All,
Decided to experiment tonight. I cast the blank last weekend and was not very impressed with it. Pretty blasé, so I decided to use it for an experiment. This is the first time I turned pen and intentionally left off the CB. Turned it to aprox size then removed the bushing between the barrels and finished turning and final finish. I like the shape and the whole idea of the simple slimline. I feel it was a worth while experiment for me.
As some of you will notice, I didn't paint the tubes. Again, experiment.
What's the consciences?

Steve, I like the shape and looks without the CB, too. I wonder if the tubes were painted if that would make it stand out a little more. Nice experiement, though.

That could be Steve. The resin was colored with some 24k gold mica powder from Coastal Scents. I had hoped for more, but thats the fun of casting, learning what works.
Thanks, by the way.
