This is my second "segmented" pen and is made from ebony and spalted beech with brass inlay. This pen took more time and care than the other pens I've made so far and I think the effort paid off. The Chic-line of pens is thinner and probably meant to be more of a ladies pen, but the brass pins give it a bit of masculine bling don't you think?

BEAUTIFUL. Should one of the best pens of the year design! Love the brass pin accent. Really adds to it, and the black spalted lines really brings everything together.

Three layers with brass rings and adding brass pin accents, it takes time to do that. Quality and design is not a fast trip effort, although practice helps some. If you are near a good market area like Miami, you could get high dollar for a pen of that design. New York, LA, SF, Hawaii, Tokyo, London, Paris, could get three to five times the price you would get in a medium size city.

That design and color combo are a winner. Elegant.

Just looked at your profile: Knife making. Oh, you have experience! :good:
