This photo shows the 3 pens I sent for the Provo display. I've shown 2 of them here before (the pen on left is the Bethlehem Olivewood and Bloodwood with the Cross made with a rasp)---but, I did redo the aluminum and brass spiral and finished it with lacquer (again, spiral done with a rasp). The newest pen is the Bethlehem Olivewood and Purpleheart pen with a "Purple Heart" which I rasped onto the lower barrel of the pen. Thanks for looking!!:)

Is the purpleheart pen for serviceman?
BTW, all three are worthy of recognition; if this Provo thing is a competition, I hope you do well.

VERY well done Tom! I especially like the heart; it looks like iet would have been even more difficult than the spirals or the cross. Good luck in Provo, and have a great trip!

Thanks guys! Yes, Bob---I intend to give a Purple Heart pen like that to a friend of mine's son who was injured in Iraq. And, you're right Jim---the Purple Heart was more difficult to make
