I guess the title says it all. I should have used CA to strengthen the goop between fibres, but I didn't. It still turned out OK, but has a few small nicks and some open grain. It's a give-away anyway, but I like to do my best, no matter what. My next one will be a pink ivory. It is so much easier to turn than palm. I like to make my own CBs, so I can make the pen fatter. This one's for a woman who is moving to Florida, hence the palm. Sorry the top pic is so bad.

Michael and Jim,
Thank you. It's been a while since I turned a pen. I look forward to turning more this week. I am finally sending the big shipment to the stabilizer and I'm taking some time to turn.

Jim,
From that guy BigRob777 here on IAP.[:D] I keep whatever doesn't make it into my "firsts". The CB came out of my trash bin. The blank had a good inch on it, but the rest was cracked.
