My 2008 MPG demo pens

This first one is a herringbone design that I showed how to do at the 2008 MPG. It's a cigar with rhodium with black chrome plating. As always I use CA for a finish.

This next one I also demonstrated how to make the design. Black Ti Jr. Gent. I did this one in the closed end style.Cocobolo for the main body and Padauk and Cherry for the segmenting.

The herringbone is my favorite of these; the workmanship looks good and the choice of woods looks spectacular.

I see why you are a demonstrator, all three are nicely done. I especially like the closed end shape you used and the metal combo on the cigar. I'll have to try to make the next MPG.

Jeff the MPG was a gathering that we had two weeks ago. Its the Midwest Penturners Gathering that was held in Champaign Illinois.

Next year can you do the MPG in the Mid-atlantic states? Don't need to change the initials
