MY 1st COMFORT PEN

This is the first comfort pen I have made. It is spalded Hackberry. It did not start out to be a comfort pen. I chipped off a piece of the hackberry as I was turning down the end. I was about to throw it out when I remembered I had a comfort pen kit I had not tried yet. I use a skew chisel cut the blank back and clean chipped piece off the front of the brass. Worked out great.

Nice recovery on that one. I bet that would make a nice one piece eliminating the center band. Still very nicely done and good to see you didn't have to toss it.
