So here is to show how far I have come since my first pen I posted on this forum. Thanks to all the tutorial and awesome members, I have been able to make some really stunning pens. This one is a kitless click pen out of deep blue sea acrylic that I got in a 40 inch rod from woodpenpro. I messed up the top part twice, and the nib (I know that is reserved for fountain pens but I dont know what else to call it) twice. But I got it made and it is stunning. The parts are pretty on center this time since I made it on my metal lathe. The threads are really good. I used 8x.75 for the nib and finial. And of course 7x.75 for the clicker. The clip is rolling ball clip from IDP. I would like to get a 9x.75 tap and die to use instead of 8x.75 because that leaves a very thin tenon which can break easily. At least on my other one it did because it was off center. I made the hidden clip with a dremel tool. And recessed it with a 23/64.. (dont quote me on that, I am not sure). Anyway this pen turned out great. And I dont imagine my kitless click getting much better. Besides not messing up and wasting material. I also attached a pic of the pen I first posted when I joined the forum. To see how far my skills have come.
