All I can say is WOW!..."Stormy Sea #2 blank" turned out beautiful! That finish is just super and the kit you chose realy looks good with that blank.

Thanks. It's just plain old multicoats of med CA, wet sanded to 8000 and then rubbed out with auto compound. I mostly do this wet look as I have a hard time with getting an acceptable satin finish..lol.

Fantastic pen! I love the combination of the blank and kit and the finish is A++. Dang, I've got a whole mess of unusable burl for worthless wood casts, but no setup for that yet. Pace myself, pace myself, Rome wasn't built in a day.

I'd say that pen and the pen that's in the mutt-sale thread (think it was a lighter blue) are probably my two favorite mutts to date.
