Here is another pen pic that I just took. It is multi-dyed spalted hackberry on a Sierra. I did the dyeing myself with plexiglass/acetone with various different colors of dye added.

Very nice. The pictures of this and the cactus remind me of the "motivational" or "demotivational" posters. I like it, it looks good, but it reminds me of those.

I just sent a spalted Hackberry blank to someone yesterday and I can tell you that your dye job takes a great piece of wood and makes it into an INCREDIBLE piece of wood. Wow! That is first class. I wish that I had the skill to make the hackberry blanks I have in the shop look like that!!
