My first Motorcycle Pen. The blank is called Midnight Racer. I made this for my barber, Frank's, 70th birthday. He's been riding Harleys since he was a teenager. I do wish I had painted the tube black.

I made another mistake besides not painting the tube, that really bothers me. I didn't line up the gold skull in the finial with the clip. But there's no way to fix it now. Regardless, I think Frank will really like it. I love all the details in the kit.

Looks good, and thanks for posting ... especially appreciate all the pictures ... sure helps to get some tips like these.

Yes, the sidewall is very thin on this kit. . I have made only one and used a very opaque Alumilite blank.

I am sure Frank will love it !!!!

When my son was working for a pizza parlor, Frank asked about him one time. I told him that Joe cut his own hair. Frank told me to tell him he was going to make his own pizza. Frank is a character, that's for sure!
